MOTIONS:
1.
Draft Resolution (Chief Whip of the Council): That, notwithstanding
Rule 247(1), which provides that a sitting of the Council will be
dedicated for oral questions, the Council considers motions as listed
below.
2.
Draft resolution (Chief Whip of the Council): That the Council,
notwithstanding the provisions of Rule 17(1) of the Rules of the National
Council of Provinces, grants Mr Olifile Sefako and Mr Eugene Jeffrey von
Brandis leave of absence from proceedings of both the Council and
committees of the Council in terms of Rule 17(2) until the honourable
Members are ready to resume their duties.
3.
Draft resolution (Chief Whip of the Council): That the Council concur
with the National Assembly, in terms of section 14(1) of the Financial
Management of Parliament Act, 2009 (Act No 10 of 2009) to determine
the date by which the Accounting Officer must prepare and present to
the Executive Authority a draft strategic plan for Parliament’s
administration as 27 February 2015.
