Workshop for the Triway HS Choir Students:
Broadway Classrooms: Educational Workshop “Making Music”
Students will learn techniques of vocal dynamics and acting through song
while working with a musical director or Broadway performer on a piece of
Broadway music. Explore the art of marrying music and drama to effectively
achieve great emotional impact. Then, students have the opportunity to
perform the piece they just learned alongside a Broadway guest performer,
followed by a question-and-answer period.
Workshop for the Triway HS Band Students:
Broadway Classrooms: Educational Workshop “Broadway 101”
This is the perfect introduction to Broadway, basic theatre, and creativity skills
for students recently introduced to Broadway and theatre in general. Explore
Broadway’s historical significance as well as the training process of a
Broadway actor. The group starts with physical and vocal warm‐ups, followed
by interactive focus/listening exercises and theatre games.

Board the ferry to take you to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island (10:00 a.m.
ferry appointment confirmed). Visit Liberty Island for an up close photo of
Statue of Liberty. You will proceed through airport-type security to go on the
ferry to the islands. Please refrain from carrying large bags or metal objects to
expedite going through security, and leave any sharp objects (pocket knives, key
chains, etc.) on the coach.

Visit the National September 11th Memorial: This 16-acre site features two
enormous waterfalls and reflecting pools, each about an acre in size, set
within the footprints of the original twin towers. Its design conveys a spirit
of hope and renewal, and creates a contemplative space separate from the
usual sights and sounds of a bustling metropolis. With more than 400 trees,
the Memorial Plaza is one of the most eco-friendly plazas ever
constructed. Bob Rogers Travel is a Charter Member and Memorial Builder
for the National September 11 Memorial and Museum.
