Certified Compatibility.
The Cerner Certification process is a functional evaluation
of technology that was designed to minimize downtime, reduce
risks and insure compatibility. With this certification, Konica Minolta
products are proven to be fully compatible with Cerner Millennium
applications. Healthcare customers using these certified Konica
Minolta devices are able to print from a single information system
— the same system they use to run tests, record/share diagnoses,
write and fill prescriptions, provide patient care instructions,
order medical supplies, or generate invoices.

Each Konica Minolta device is put through Cerner’s rigorous
6-8 week print certification process after the product is received
at Cerner’s Kansas City testing facility. The process includes
development of necessary operating systems scripts, installation
and support documentation, and training of Cerner support
associates. Cerner currently offers programs for laser printers,
thermal printers, and bar code scanners. Once certified, Cerner
lists the product on its internal customer website and and sends
Konica Minolta proof of certification.
This certification also gives healthcare customers added peace
of mind by providing access to product support services 24/7 and 365 days a year through the Cerner Help Desk. As part of the
certification process, Cerner support associates are thoroughly
trained on all Konica Minolta certified devices. In addition,
Konica Minolta provides on-going training and engineering
support for the life-cycle of the product. This gives a healthcare
professional the ability to call and report a non‑functioning device,
any hour of the day or night, and receive remote support to get
that device up and running as quickly as possible.
