Just refer to the instructions below. eW-2 Instructions for Employees Attention Employees! The registration deadline for eW-2s is January 10, 2015. If you do not sign up to receive your W-2 via email, you will receive it in the mail through the U.S. Postal Service postmarked no later than January 31, 2014. Also, even if you registered for this service last year, you must opt in again every new tax year. First time users: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. Go to www.w2copy.com Click on the gold colored button that says Click here for E-W2 & W2 Retrieval/Login /Register Click on Not yet registered for E-W2 of W2 retrieval? Click here Enter your: a. Name as it appears on your paycheck b. Valid email address c. Social Security Number d. Username and password you would like to use for the site The company code should be IS2021 Make sure the box is checked next to “I would like to receive an E-W2 for this Company Code” If this is not selected, your W-2 will be mailed to you. Click the Submit button. Check your email. You will receive a message from [email protected] stating that you have registered to receive an eW-2. You will need to click the link inside to confirm your email address. Save your username and password for this site as you will need it to retrieve your eW-2 in January. If you registered for an eW-2 last year: 1. 2. 3. Go to www.w2copy.com Click on the gold colored button that says Click here for E-W2 & W2 Retrieval/Login /Register Enter the username and password you set up for the site in previous years. 4. 5. If you forgot your username and/or password, you can use the Forgot Username and Forgot Password links on the website. Once you log in, you can opt in to the electronic W2 for 2014 by clicking on Turn ON E-W2. When and How Will I Receive My eW-2? The eW-2 email will be sent out no later than January 31st. You will need to have the free Adobe Reader installed to open it. You will also need your password from registration. Just follow the instructions in the email. Important Note Please retain this document, along with your user name and password, in a secure location. You will need this information to retrieve your eW-2 from the website. (www.w2copy.com). Questions? What if I don’t receive a confirmation email? If you do not receive an email confirming your registration, please check your junk mail and spam filter for an email from [email protected]. If you do not find it in either place, you will need to go back into registration to verify that you have entered a valid email address. If you do not confirm your email address, your W-2 will be mailed to you. How do I retrieve a copy of my W-2 if I need it later? Go to www.w2copy.com. On the top menu bar of the home page, choose eW-2. On the next screen you will be asked for your company code (IS2021). Please enter it and submit. Continue following the instructions on the website to retrieve your eW-2. The password to open your eW-2 is your Social Security number with no spaces or hyphens.
