For God so loved...
This morning we take one last look at
Jesus conversation with Nicodemus in
John 3 as we consider the choice of
light or darkness. So far this month we
have explored person of Nicodemus (a
Pharisee, Ruler and Teacher), we have
considered God's response to evil at the
cross, and then last Sunday we
embraced God's love given in His Son
Jesus. This morning we finish this series
by exploring our options to choose the
light of God's love or remain in the darkness.
Convention Prayer Update
The approaching month of December can be a particularly
lonely and difficult time when in prison. Please pray for our
Baptist chaplains who are ministering in Atlantic Canada's
correctional system – Rev. Hugh Kirkegaard, Regional Chaplain;
Rev. Phil Ferris (Westmorland Institution), Rev. Pauline Coffin
(Nova Institution for Women), Rev. Wilma Janzen (Concilio –
St. Luke's Renewal Centre, Springhill, NS), and Ogueri Ohanaka
(Central NS Correctional Facility).
