Thanksgiving Family Night
Thursday, November 20, 5pm
We at Morning Pointe of
Richmond are very thankful for
our family and friends and our
community. Join us this month for
a traditional Thanksgiving
celebration with all the usual
delicious trimmings. Music will be
provided by one of our favorite
gospel groups, the Lighthouse
Baptist Singers. Everyone is
welcome.
Also, in the spirit of thankfulness
and charity we are gathering
food for the Salvation Army Food
Bank through the month of
November.
"A Ride to Remember"
Nila & Hester with bikers
Residents Nila Cheap and Hester
Pierce with some of the cyclists
that rode in the "Ride to
Remember" to raise funds for the
Alzheimer's Association. The riders
traveled from Morning Pointe of
Frankfort to our community in
Richmond. The residents
presented each of the riders with
a purple ribbon pin. They also
enjoyed refreshing treats before
heading back! Great job
everyone!

We Play Cards
We love to play cards here in
Richmond. We have some great
volunteers who come to play Rook,
Rummy, and Bridge with us. Some of us
are just learning so we'll be ready for
good indoor fun this winter.

Executive Director
Please join us at Morning
Pointe of Richmond as
we celebrate the
holidays by helping those
in need. Through out the
month of November we
will be collecting nonperishable food items to
donate to the Salvation
Army. After feeding over
1000 people over the last
few months, food
supplies are almost
completely depleted at
the site. Please see a
Morning Pointe associate
to donate or drop by
your food any time
during business hours to
our senior living
community.
Thank you for helping to
make a difference this
holiday season.
After Our Facials
on Spa Day at Morning Pointe
We're having a spa day at least once a
month. In September, Netsa gave us
facials and did our makeup. Also,
Whitney West, a licensed massage
therapist did chaiir massages. We're
looking good and feeling great!
3rd Quarter Winner
Name your game!
Ralph, Louise, Alice, and Nick

greatly to the success of our
community. This isn't the first time that
Belinda has been honored with this

appreciated and respected she is by
all of us here at Morning Pointe!

A Beautiful Smile
Marjorie grew on a farm in rural
Agenda, Kansas. After graduating as
valedictorian of her highschool class
she earned a degree in Food Service
from Kansas State University in
Manhattan Kansas.
Here at Morning Pointe, Marjorie
impressed us with her skills with the
crochet hook! She was the only one
who could complete the crocheted
necklace project. She's a natural with
her hands and we are looking forward
to having her help us with more art
projects in the future.
She ended up moving to Lexington,
Kentucky after she met and married
an army man from Hazard, Kentucky
who was stationed at Ft. Riley.
