EXAMINATIONS: 4TH TERM/EARLY CLOSING
Please be reminded that the final examinations (Grades 4 to
7) will start this Thursday, 20 November, and will continue
until Friday, 28 November, 2014. Therefore, from this
Thursday, our school will close for all grades at 1pm until
the end of the year. Please ensure that arrangements are
made to pick children up promptly at 1pm unless your child
is attending Daycare. School sport and other extra-mural
activities will stop on Friday, 21 November, for the year.
Your co-operation in this regard would be very much appreciated.
STATIONERY 2015
You will have received order forms from Art & Office last
week listing the stationery requirements for 2015. Kindly
make special note of the payment methods and when these
will be sold. Alternatively, you can make your purchase directly from Art & Office in Montague Gardens. All relevant
information appears on the forms sent home.
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR PARENTS
Please note that parents are requested not to bring items
that learners have left at home to the school reception. This
causes disruption of their school day, the class as well as admin staff. It also serves as a lesson of taking responsibility
and ownership.
LATECOMERS
There has been a huge increase in the number of late comers
and this needs to be addressed by parents as a matter of urgency. It is hugely disruptive for both teachers and learners
alike and we will appreciate your urgent co-operation in this
regard.
LATE FETCHING FROM AFTERCARE
At this time of year we notice an increase in late fetching.
Learners are to be fetched from Aftercare before 5.30pm. As
per our Aftercare Policy, parents fetching after 5.30pm will
be fined at R5 a minute and three late collections will result
in Aftercare being terminated.
SWIMMING
We would like to congratulate Celina Isaacs (Grade 5V) on
breaking the Under 11 breaststroke record at the recent MPS
gala.
