Many of the activities are in popular demand and some of the
providers prefer smaller groups, so this makes it important to
consider booking the activities in advance. If you find a tour you
really like, make sure to get a place booked before you leave for
Tromsø and Northern Norway.

The weather in Tromsø is unpredictable. It can change rapidly,
from fine and warm to cold and rainy. If you go on a day trip or
a longer hike, it is best to be prepared for this change in weather
conditions to make sure you have a nice experience. Regardless of
the season, clothing must be able to transport moisture away from
your body. Consider the conditions and the level of activity on the
trip, and dress accordingly, in layers: first a layer of underwear,
then one or more intermediate layers and, finally, an outer layer.
Multiple layers of clothing enable you to regulate warmth and
protection by putting on or taking off garments.

Evening boat trip on the spectacular west coast of Kvaløya. You will experience the characteristic island Håja, which gave shape to the Arctic Cathedral. Other highlights are Ersfjorden and

Kayaking is one of our favourite ways to spend time outdoors. The sea is fundamental to North
Norwegian culture and kayaking is a great way to experience it. On the bright summer nights
we can kayak even at night and enjoy the Midnight Sun. A great time to observe marine birds
that are very active at this time. We use double kayaks ideal for beginners but enquire about

Visit us and our reindeer at Tromsø Lapland camp. You will meet an authentic Sami guide who
will tell you about the reindeer and reindeer herders. You can choose to focus on photography
or you try to feed the reindeer. You can also try lasso throwing on reindeer antlers (not the real
reindeer). You will be served a Sami meal and coffee in a lavvu (Sami tent), while listening to
Sami stories and joik (traditional Sami folk song).

Verdens Nordligste Bryggeri inviterer til omvisning i gamle ølkjellere og mikrobryggeri. Det blir

egen pub – Ølhallen – som er Tromsøs eldste pub med 67 øl på tapp. Mandag til fredag

Midnight Sun Marathon takes place in the Arctic city of Tromsø at 69°N in June. The race is
the world`s northernmost AIMS certified marathon. More than 5000 runners from over

Fjellheisen er en pendelbane som går til Storsteinen på Fløya, nær
Tromsø sentrum, 421 meter over havet. Turen opp tar fire minutter.
Herfra har du fantastisk utsikt over Tromsø samt de omkringliggende
øyene og fjordene. Fløya er også et utmerket startpunkt for turer til
ulike fjell i området. I midnattssoltida åpen til over midnatt.

Between the Barents Sea and Finland’s highest mountain, the Gorsajuvet ravine in Kåfjorddalen

I RIB båt tar vi turen ut til Risvika, nord på Kvaløya. Her går vi i land og besøker en av våre
lavvoer. Mens vi sitter rundt bålet og drikker litt kaffe vil det bli presentert litt forskjellige
smaksprøver av ulike typer sjømat som Tromsø er kjent for. Dette er ikke et helt måltid. Man får
muligheten til å gå på en liten tur ned på vår hvite korallstrand før vi tar turen tilbake til Tromsø.

Når strømmen er på det sterkeste kan havet mellom Ryøya og Kvaløya renne som en liten elv.
Mange fugler og fiskearter holder til i området rundt Rystrømmen. Når du kaster sluken kan
både sei, torsk, steinbit og til og med kveita bite på. Turen varer totalt tre timer. Fangsten koker
vi om bord og serverer med flatbrød, smør, salt og pepper. Vi har tre dekk du kan fiske fra, to
varme salonger med panoramautsikt og en åpen flybridge.
At its strongest, the current between the islands of Ryøya and Kvaløya runs like a river. Many
species of birds and fish are found in this area. When you drop a fishing line, cod, saithe, wolffish and halibut can bite your lure. The entire trip lasts three hours. The catch will be cooked and
served with flatbread, butter, salt and pepper. Lofotfjord features three decks from which you
can fish, two heated saloons with panoramic views and an open flybridge.

We go out fishing near Tromsø in our luxury sail/motor catamaran Lagoon 450. Arctic Princess

Dogs are said to be man’s best friend, and rarely will you meet so many new,
faithful friends as you can at our many small and large husky kennels. These
huskies love to take you on hikes in fairytale landscapes, they enjoy receiving
visits and would love for you to attend the training camp where the puppies
learn to become good sled dogs.
