JAZZ: Solid, full-coverage leotard, tank or cap/short sleeved, or fitted T-shirt. Black jazz pants,
to cover the waist. (No Capri pants, shorts, sweatpants, etc.) Jazz shoes with suede (non
marking) soles. Hair must be pulled back away from the face and neatly secured. Appropriate
jazz sneakers allowed in Intermediate and Advanced Jazz. No Short Shorts.

WITH screws only. For the protection of our dance floors, tap shoes with nails will not be
allowed. All students are asked to check that their screws are not loose before and during class.
Youth Tap IV ladies will be required to have Capezio 1.5” heel junior footlight in addition to
their Jazz tap shoe style of choice.
