he juror for this years juried show is Carol Cruickshanks. Ms. Cruickshanks, Executive Director of New
Hope Arts since June of 2011, has been an educator and art historian with The College of New Jersey and
art specialist with Rago Auctions in Lambertville, NJ. She has authored numerous publications on contemporary
art and artists of our region, and has presented lectures on Modernism, 20th Design, curatorial research and
evaluating personal property. Ms.Cruickshanks brings a wide ranging perspective to this year's juried show.

of style or medium, I immediately pay attention and consider these potential award winners. In the process of
selecting art work for an exhibition I also strive to choose pieces that showcase variety in the overall

Please read carefully. Entries submitted without adherence to all guidelines will not be considered.
ELIGIBILITY
Open to all artists18 and over. All artwork entered must be the artist’s original creations completed
within the last two years, and must not have been exhibited in past Artists of Yardley exhibitions or
events.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Digital submission only.

Artwork will be considered in all media except film/video, jewelry, crafts and giclees prints of original work.
**Submissions are limited to a maximum of 3 pieces.
Size digital .jpg images 4” x 6”, at 300 dpi. (approx.1 MB maximum size).
Identify images with last name, first initial, title. Example- jonesdtitle.jpg
Artwork must be no larger than 60” in either direction. Freestanding sculpture limited to 9”d x
18h” x 24w” and no more than 10 lbs. (will be displayed in glass cases).
SUBMISSION FEES
For up to 3 pieces – Members $25, Non-members: $35. Payment – Mastercard, Visa, Paypal.
Acceptance into the exhibition is not guaranteed with entry.
All member exhibitors are expected to sign up to gallery sit. A sign up form will be available at
registration.
NOTIFICATION
Notification of selected entries posted on AOY website by March 1 before 10 p.m. Selected
artwork must be wired, framed (if media applicable), and ready to hang (no saw-tooth hangers) with
wire and d-rings. If canvas is unframed it must have finished edges with no visible staples. No clips or
plastic poster frames accepted. Entered and accepted work cannot be substituted. AOY reserves the
right to reject work delivered at the time of the exhibition that differs from the artist's accepted work or
not suitably presented. All work must be available for the duration of the exhibition.
SALE OF ARTWORK
All artwork must be for sale exclusively through AOY. AOY takes a 30% sales commission on all work
sold. Payment to the artist is made within 30 days of close of the exhibition.
MEDIA/PUBLIC RELATIONS RELEASE
AOY reserves the right to use digital images of accepted and exhibited artwork for promotion and
publicity.
LIABILITY
AOY will do its utmost to protect work in its possession, but the organization is not responsible for
damage, or loss.
DELIVERY AND PICKUP
Hand delivery of accepted work only. Drop off is Sunday, March 22 from 11 to 2 p.m. and Monday, March 23 from 10 to
noon. All work is to be delivered to The Art Center, 949 Mirror Lake Road Yardley, PA. Contact information must be on the
back of all pieces accepted. Please bring a bio and/or artist statement at the time of delivery.
Pick up of unsold work is Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 5 to 6 p.m. and Monday, April 27, from 10 p.m. To 12 p.m. Art picked
up after these dates will be subject to $5.00 per day storage fee. Any works left over one month shall become property of
AOY.

spectrum of disciplines. The AOY, a non-profit 501(c)3, is dedicated to nurturing the creative spirit of the community by educating and
