ELIGIBILITY
Sedona Arts Center current membership is required. You may join when submitting Entry Form ($50 individual/$75
household). All artwork must be original and completed within the last two (2) years. Artists are encouraged to submit their
best works. Works previously exhibited at the Sedona Arts Center are not eligible for this Exhibition. Pieces must be
properly framed (no sawtooth hangers) and ready for display. Paintings/photographs, including frame or outside dimensions
of wall hangings, cannot exceed 1280 sq. inches (any combination of height x width). PLEASE REMEMBER OUR
EXHIBIT (WALL SPACE) LIMITATIONS WHEN PLANNING YOUR SUBMISSIONS.
A Jury Panel will jury entries into the show and awards in the following Categories and Groups. Jurors will not be directly
associated with the Sedona Arts Center.

GROUPS
Entries will be judged in 2 Groups
PROFESSIONAL – Professional artists are those that either have a career in the arts or have shown and sold their work in a
professional setting.
EMERGING – Emerging artists are those who do not show or sell their work in commercial settings nor have they had a
career in the arts.
Artists must indicate on the entry forms category and group for each work. The Jury reserves the right to make final
decisions regarding professional or emerging artist status. Categories with fewer than seven submissions may be
combined with other categories.
AWARDS
Cash prizes will be awarded for Best of Show and First Place in each Category for both Groups.
Plaques will be awarded for 2nd and 3rd place in each Category for both Groups.
SALES
Sedona Arts Center will retain 50% commission on sales except Bronze Sculpture which will be
60/40%. All entries must be available for purchase and bear a sale price determined by the
submitting artist.
LIABILITY Although reasonable care will be taken in handling and displaying artwork. Due to the Center’s lack
of storage space, artists will be charged $3/day storage fee for work left after pickup dates. Work
left after 7 days becomes the property of the Sedona Arts Center. Artist may arrange for artwork
pickup by another party.
ENTRY PROCEDURE CHECKLIST
Complete entry form.
A maximum of 6 pieces may be submitted.
Entry Fee: $10.00 (U.S. funds) non-refundable entry fee per art piece.
Submit one digital image for each piece on CD. All images submitted (Maximum of 6 per artist) may be put on one CD
as long as the category is the same. Submit one image per piece for 2D artwork, two images per piece for 3D. If artist is
submitting in more than one category, then use a separate CD for each category. Use only the categories listed. Label
front of CD with artist’s name. Digital images must be PC compatible, converted to RGB color, in JPG format, and 300
resolution (300 dpi, longest side 1920 pixels). Digital files must be saved to include the artist’s initials only, submission
number, title (abbreviate if necessary) and medium.
Example for file names: AB_1_Melody_oil.jpg AB_2_Leaves_acrylic.jpg. Images must be numbered to correspond
to numbers on Entry Form. CD’s will not be returned. Images must be placed on separate CD’s based on media.
Include self-addressed, stamped envelope.
Place entry form, CD(s), and check in 6” x 9” or larger envelope.
Important: No changes to size or sales price of juried-in artwork will be permitted. Be sure the framed size and sales
price are correct on your Entry Form. Keep a copy of your Entry Form for reference.
Sedona Arts Center reserves the right to refuse any accepted artwork deemed unsuitable due to a difference in quality from
the digital image.
