Guidance Announcements Denison University hosts a week-long residential summer program in creative writing . The Reynolds Young Writers Workshop will be held from June 14-21, 2015. The fee for the eight day program is $1,300. Please feel free to stop by the Guidance Office if you would like more information. Today’s students face a number of challenges that can make it difficult for them to pursue a post-secondary degree. The Ivy Tech Associate Accelerated Program (ASAP) offers a solution to help students overcome these challenges. ASAP students can earn their associates degree in one year and be prepared to start their careers or transfer to a four-year college. The Indianapolis Zoo is looking for responsible, enthusiastic students with an interest in working in a zoological environment, and who can interact positively with guests. Scholarship Information Seniors: The Hamilton County Masters Gardeners Association is currently accepting applications for the 2015-16 Barney Hobbs Horticultural Scholarship. Five $3,000 scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors or college students who are residents of Hamilton County and intend to major in Horticulture or a related subject such as agriculture, botany or landscape architecture/design. The current Miller Scholarship recipient had a cumulative GPA of 3.82, a mean SAT score of 1850 and an average composite score for the ACT was 28.
