From The Desk of The Pastor:
In the past year, we have been blessed by God for so
many good things. At this time of year, I can only reflect on what we have done and where we will be going.
First of all I must give regrets for Archbishop Chaput,
the Holy Father has requested his presence during our
175th in Rome after the Pope’s Visit. Bishop McIntyre
will be taking his place. I know this will also be as wonderful. Consideration will be given to have another
event during the year to invite the Archbishop again.
Therefore, we will place our best foot forward.
This past year we had 10 weddings, 26 Baptisms and 23
funerals which is down by three. The weddings doubled since last year! Thanks for the growth.
The Parish Council met this past week to discuss the
upcoming Calendar for the New Year. We also addressed the Subsidy for Holy Family School and the
175th anniversary of the Parish. We look forward to
the challenges and the rewards of all our work this coming year. God Bless all in 2015!!!
In regards to our budget, we have been in the last year
evaluating the expenses of our parish. We were
$143,191 in the short last year. We have started to
make changes to try to adjust expenses. The increased
property has been a challenge and the care for the cemeteries and school assessment for Holy Family. All are
being evaluated now, so we can find some solutions.
More info to come!!! Evaluation results soon!
Take one day at a time with the Lord!
