The Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph St. Michael The Archangel Church, Union, New Jersey We are all destined to live in families: Jesus was no exception. Jesus’ family, like most of ours was not a family of great privilege. They fulfilled the ritual requirements of Judaism and returned to their simple lives in Nazareth. There, we can presume, they followed the sometimes difficult call to honor, love and respect one another … just like us.
