4th Sunday of Lent
St. Michael The Archangel Church, Union, New Jersey
4th SUNDAY OF LENT
What is the limit of God’s patience? Today’s readings
address the question. We hear about the painful exile of
Israel to foreign land after years of obstinacy and infidelity.
But that isn’t the end of the story. Israel is returned to
Jerusalem, and God’s Son is sent into the world. The final
story is not about us, but about God’s infinite persistence
and mercy.
