God rules history and can even use legitimate authority and
hierarchical systems that benefit others, as the Emperor
Cyrus rebuilt ancient Israel coming out of captivity. We
acknowledge that we are members of a civil society governed
by authority deserving of its just due. But, as Christians, we
are bound by a higher authority, one that calls us to love of
God and love of neighbor.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION HOURS
Hours for the Religious Education Office are Monday through Thursday from
10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Other hours are available by appointment.

SUNDAY CCD STUDENTS will have an
extended session on October 26th. They are to
attend the 9:00 a.m. mass and sit with their class.
They will go directly to the school for class after
mass. Dismissal will be at 11:30 a.m. This session
counts as two classes.

ministry. Your God-given talent to become a choir

given self-written presentations on their Faith in
Jesus to our 8th graders and Confirmation Class.
Their presentations touched all present and we are
blessed to have them represent our group.
ST. MICHAEL’S FOOD PANTRY
Once a month we distribute groceries for people in
need. Please contact Mike at 908-380-0070 if we
can assist you and your family with our program.
Call for our monthly date and hours of distribution.
Our teen retreat “Every Good Thing” will be held
on Nov. 21-23, 2014. Registration forms have been
sent out to all registered members and their
families. Do not delay getting them in as all spots
are on a first come first served basis. Once they all
fill there will be a waiting list.

Kean University. Dr. Feehan will speak on the
subject of colors and how they play a part in the
Liturgical calendar plus more.

A Night of Reflection for Women
Join the Holy Spirit Women’s Retreat Team on

will include prayer, teachings, music, a witness talk,
