outpatient surgeries or just not feeling well.

THE OUT-TO-LUNCH BUNCH: The Out-to-Lunch Bunch is going to Hannah
Flanagan’s today. Join Myrl Jean Hughes after the eleven o’clock service. Next week we
will be going to Blackberry Mountain Café with Myrl Jean Hughes. Give Myrl Jean a call
(699-1027) by noon on Saturday if you would like to join us. Visitors are welcome - please
notify the host(s) prior to the lunch.
TRINITY YOUTH NEWS: Sunday, January 11: Lunch and bowling after church.
Sunday, January 18: Camp and conference day, with the director of Camp Grier, Jason
McDougald.
BRING A CAN WHEN YOU CAN: It’s that time - I.A.M. needs Holiday fixins’. On the
list is hams, turkeys, turkey breasts, chickens, instant mashed potatoes, pie fillings, pie
crusts, cake mixes, cranberry sauce, stuffing mix, canned yams and peas. Of course we still
need donations of everyday foods (canned pasta, canned fruit, peanut butter and jelly,
crackers, soup, spaghetti and sauce, macaroni and cheese, cereal, healthy snacks) for children
who are home during winter break. Local Missions Ministry will deliver the food
contributions. Of course any non-perishable food and personal hygiene items are always
welcomed. Monetary donations are also appreciated. Clothing, linens, etc., may be taken
directly to I.A.M.
FLOWER CALENDAR: The new flower calendar is now in place. Please go by and sign
up for your special Sunday.
TRINITY THIRTY HOSTESSES: One of our best fellowship programs needs your help.

DID YOU KNOW... anytime you eat at Sol Y Luna you can help Feed the Kids? Feed the
Kids is a program Trinity actively supports that prepares and serves a nutritious meal each
Friday for the youth at Boys and Girls Club. Any day you eat at either Sol Y Luna location
(Main Street or Laurel Park), all you have to do is mention you are there to support Feed the
Kids and write FTK on your check. That’s all you have to do and 10% of the cost of your
meal will benefit Feed the Kids!
THE FIVE CENTS-A-MEAL OFFERING will be received today.
NEW LECTURE AND RESPONSE CLASS SERIES FOR THE NEW YEAR. The
Lecture and Response Class will not meet this Sunday or next but will return on January 4,
in the Fellowship Hall, with the first of a six-part video discussion series entitled Surprised
by Hope: Rethinking Heaven, the Resurrection, and the Mission of the Church. The series
features video presentations by the renowned scholar and pastor N. T. Wright.
