Refactored large threaded procedural C code base to object oriented C++ code. Prototyped various 3d enclosures for sensors using Inventor and makerbots for printing. Queen’s Space Engineering Team Communications Lead Kingston, ON Fall 2013 - Ongoing Helped design both electrical and software systems for a Mars enabled rover to compete in the 2012 NASA Lunabotics Competition. Designed and implemented a 2km no-line of sight wireless communication system with ground tracking antenna for an astronaut assisting rover to be used in competition at the annual University Rover Challenge in Utah. Also involved in power systems, user interface, robotics control and mechanical design.
