COUPLE’S ENRICHMENT DINNER. The evening begins
with dinner, followed by a keynote address by Teresa
Hartnett, Director of Family Ministry for the Diocese of
Hamilton. Watch the bulletin for more information regarding
tickets and who to contact. This promises to be a fun
evening for all!
The next PRAYER VIGIL is Thursday, January 8, 2015
from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in front of Freeport Hospital, for
babies being aborted. All are welcome to pray quietly for
those who have no voice, but our own! Parking is across
the road at Schneider Park. Any queries, please contact

The next NEW HORIZONS PROGRAM for Zoomers,
Boomers and Seniors, is on Thursday, January 8, 2015
from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Maryhill Community
Centre, 58 Charles Street East, Maryhill. Admission is $2
per person. Rob Bakalarczyk, P. Eng and Senior Project
Manager will speak on the New Highway 7. For information

COMMUNITY CAN DINE on the second Friday of every
month at Trinity United Church, Elmira. The next date is
Friday, January 9, 2015 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. It is mac
and cheese. The cost is free. Donations will be accepted to
cover the cost of dinner. Volunteers welcome to help
prepare and serve the meal.
WOOLWICH TOWNSHIP SENIORS’ COMMUNITY
DINING - Join us for a hot noon day meal, fellowship and
entertainment at the Calvary United Church, 48 Hawkesville
Road, St. Jacobs on Wednesday, January 14, 2015.
Please register by 10 a.m. the Monday morning before the
lunch. Cancellations are to be made by 2 p.m. the day
before the lunch. The time for the event is 11:30 a.m. until
approximately 2:30 p.m. Lunch is served at 12 noon. The

VOCATION OVATION BANQUET sponsored by the KW
Serra Club will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015
at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 173 Lourdes St., Waterloo
beginning with Mass at 5:30 p.m. celebrated by Bishop
Daniel Miehm. Mass will be followed by dinner in the parish
hall. A panel comprised of members of various religious
congregations will speak of their vocation journey and their
lives since they began their quest. We will be joined by
members of the Catholic High School community who will
assist with serving and will join us for our celebration. Our
hosts for the evening will be Father W. Kuzma, Vocation
Director for our Diocese and Father Toby Collins, C.R. the
Vocation Director for the Congregation of the Resurrection.
This event will acknowledge the beginning of the “Year of
Consecrated Life” proclaimed by Pope Francis. We will
continue to recognize and thank the Sisters who have
fulfilled their vocations in our community. Tickets are
available in advance and must be purchased by Friday,
January 15, 2015. Cost of the dinner is $50.00 per person.

2015 FEBRUARY POTATO BLITZ in support of the House
of Friendship. DON CAMERON POTATO NIGHT on
Friday, January 23, 2015 at the Auditorium at the Rangers
versus Kingston Frontenacs Game. Bring your spuds and
