































All owners and handler/riders of horses competing in this show are required to be current financial members of the HBGA. All stabling/camping/cabins are to be booked and sent to the AQHA. Please refer to NPHA website – www.npha.com.au for the appropriate form. Entries will only be accepted on the official entry form available on the from the HBGA face book page and website The total entry fees, including all office fees, must be forwarded to: Kylie Hardwicke, HBGA Secretary, 2 Griffins Rd Tennyson NSW 2756, or paid by credit card. No change of handler is allowed without advising the show office at least one hour prior to the event taking place. Payment can be made by cheque, money order or credit card. Cheques should be made payable to Halter Breeders Group Australia. In the case of any dishonoured payments the exhibitor will be contacted and new payment must be made within 5 working days and a dishonour fee of $20 will apply. If restitution is not made within this time frame the entries will not be accepted. Late entries for all events will be accepted up until 2pm on Friday 22nd May, 2015, and will incur a 25% late fee. No refund of entry fees will be made after 20th April, 2015, except in the event of the death of a horse. All futurities have GUARANTEED prize money at the stated amounts as long as 6 or more entries compete. The money will be paid out TO 6TH place as follows: 1st 45%, 2ND 20%, 3RD 15%, 4TH 10%, 5TH 7%, 6TH 3%. If LESS than 6 entries then only those placings will be paid as per the percentages aforementioned which means that IF less than 6 entries, not ALL of the prize pool may be awarded. All Open and A/O classes will be awarded ribbons from 1st to 5th place. No prize money will be applicable All Breed GRAND CHAMPIONS are eligible to compete in the $1000 CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONs In the case of outbreak of any contagious or infectious disease amongst horses, neither the HBGA nor the sponsors of show organisers will be liable for any damage or loss that may occur to any person or animal. Dogs are welcome at SIEC but must be kept on a leash at all times. No dogs are allowed anywhere in or near the indoor arena. All motorised vehicles are to adhere to RTA legislation. Quad bikes are not allowed on the grounds. No vehicles except for emergency or medical vehicles are to drive into the stable areas. No pushbikes, skateboards etc are to be ridden within the stable block or the arenas. Golf Buggies are not to be taken inside the stable area. No horses are to be lunged in the indoor arena or any of the outdoor arenas. All lunging is to be done in the round yards. No horses are to be left in the round yards. These yards are for lunging only. Horse numbers are used for the NSW State QH Championships, NPHA and HBGA. Competitor packs will be available from the show office from 10am on Friday 24th May, 2015. Drug testing will be done at this show. Please refer to rule 40.8 of the AQHA Official Handbook for further rules relating to Drugs and Surgical Procedures. All horses are subject to drug testing and all owners agree that by making their entry, they will submit their horses to be drug tested if/when requested. Competitors realise that horse related competition has an inherent risk and as such compete at this competition at their own risk. The HBGA and show organisers will accept no liability for accident, loss or injury. This applies to all competitors, their connections, horses and spectators. All non AQHA financial members must fill out the Temporary membership Waiver Liability form which must accompany the entry forms. All buildings are NO SMOKING ZONES so please observe this ruling. Camping passes must be displayed on the road side of your camping vehicle so SIEC staff can easily see it when completing the camping count. A stable deposit of $75 is required on all stables/tack rooms. If you wish to receive your deposit back, then you must totally clean out your stable, including being swept, and have it inspected and locked prior to your departure from the venue. No lunging or exercising of horses is permitted on the SIEC lawns. First aid officers are available on the grounds during the show hours. After hours a Senior First Aid officer is available by contacting the show committee. Every horse entered for competition shall be under the control of the Show Manager or such person/s he appoints to act on his behalf. Only contestants in the specific classes and show officials will be allowed in the competition arena or marshalling area during the judging. The Show Manager or such person he appoints shall have discretion to eject any exhibitor from the said area for inhumane treatment and/or training of any horse or failure to observe the Rules and Regulations of the competition and the Rules and Regulations of the AQHA or any reasonable request. Your co‐operation is expected. Show management may exclude horses form competition should there be any unnecessary or embarrassing delay on the part of the exhibitor in bringing the horse into the competition arena. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to present themselves at the competition arena gate when called. Failure to report on final call will result in disqualification from the class. In the event that a horse is excluded from entry, all entry fees and charges for the class are forfeited without liability to the show organisers/committee. Show management reserve the right to change the order of classes before or during the show. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to be aware of any changes which will be posted at the Show Secretary’s office and announced. Every endeavour will be made to give one hour’s notice of any changes to the running order of events; however, every will be made to avoid changes. Any exhibitor or rider who refuses to obey the request of the Judge, Show Manager or any show official will be automatically disqualified from further competition at the show and forfeits al previous winnings together with all entry fees and other charges. 













































At the discretion of the Show Manager or show committee, the offending individual and his/her entire exhibit may be removed from the grounds. All horses must be serviceably sound. In case of suspected unsoundness the Judge and/or Show Management may, if he/she so desires have the animal examined by the Show Veterinarian and his decision shall be final. Riders and handlers must be correctly attired at all times including western hat/helmet and riding boots. Any person not correctly attired will not be allowed into the Marshalling arenas. The disputes committee shall consist of the Show Manager, one show committee member and one competitor. Protests must be made in writing to the show secretary and be lodged within 30 minutes of the completion of the disputed event. A cash fee of $50 must accompany any protest. All prize money will be posted out by cheque within 30 days of the completion of the show.
Youth ages will be as at 1st August, 2013, and all youth competitors must have the written permission of a parent or guardian or legal guardian to compete.
Eligibility for the LIMITED A/O halter futurities: 

Competitors/participants of any event run by the HBGA have a responsibility to ensure the welfare of their horses humanely and with dignity, respect and compassion. Competitors/participants are to conduct themselves in a professional manner and act with integrity in all dealing with the affiliate and other competitors. To uphold the rules and regulations of the NPHA and the AQHA at all times. Competitors/participants are to demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times, showing respect for your fellow competitors and officials, following the rules and to treat people the way you wish to be treated.
Only horses registered with the AQHA or other relevant breed societies are eligible to compete at this show.
All youth competing or taking part in an AQHA approved event, must have written permission from their parent/guardian to be at that event as a contestant or participant and in the case of a contestant, the parent/guardian must also sign the entry form. All youth competing or taking part in an AQHA approved event must be in the care of a responsible adult who is in attendance for the duration of that event, whilst the youth is in attendance at that event.
No alcohol is allowed in or can be consumed in the marshalling areas, working arenas or show pen/contest areas.
