Congratulations to December Student of the Month
Emily Hallman is one of the most enthusiastic learners I've had the pleasure of teaching two years in a row. As a learner,
she focuses on the day's tasks, takes notes, and doesn't take time for granted. She may be the only student that organizes
her tasks prior to missing class. As a peer, Emily is thoughtful and provides students with meaningful interpretations of the
tasks to help them form their own rationales. I enjoy her unique perspectives on motivation and effort. She seems like she
never has a bad day, never needs a break, never whines to me about the complexity of the task-she keeps her head up and
pushes through.
- Caroline
Kohn 8th grader is student of the month for Chiefland Middle Student of the Month
for December. Caroline is quiet, polite, always respectful. She is very pleasant young lady to be around. Absolute joy to
have in class and at Chiefland Middle School.
Congratulations to Mrs. Flemming for being the December Teacher of the Month. Our Leadership
students wrote this about her:
Mrs. Flemming is always working really hard to make sure her students “get it.” She views
everyone the same and gives everyone equal opportunity. She is a great person all-around.
Another student shared:She always makes sure everyone understands something and will go above
and beyond what is needed to make sure of it. She keep us on our feet with different testing and
studying techniques.
CMHS Mission Statement
We, the faculty of CMHS, believe our purpose is to challenge and prepare students to become productive,
responsible citizens. We will encourage students within a caring and challenging community to set achievable2
goals and strive to reach these goals through personal excellence.
