Challenge is a 10 question online quiz on the basics of good stewardship and finances. The congregation with the highest score (based upon a combination of correct answers and percentage of participation) will win $1,000 for their youth. Website information will be furnished later. STEWARDSHIP CORNER Whether God entrusts us with little money or lots of it, we decide if we are going to be using it selfishly or to do good. Our money can be dedicated to Jesus and used to minister to the needs of those who are hungry, sick, naked, etc. Home and foreign missions can be supported. Our money can be used to support the mission and ministry of our church. The Apostle Paul wrote, “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith” (Galatians 6:9-10). When God has our hearts, we will use our money as a means of doing good. LUTHERANS FOR LIFE “We can’t stop all evil in this fallen world, but we can fight it in our own neck of the woods with love.
