INTENSE EMOTIONS
Guided by the quest for perfectly balanced
and streamlined volumes, the style of the 508
suggests a vehicle “sculpted from a solid mass”,
reflecting attributes of elegance, robustness and
build quality.
At the front, the 508 illustrates Peugeot’s evolving
aesthetic codes with a unique grill rendered in a fluid
style, and finely-worked headlights with their feline
look, combining chrome and satin surfaces. LED
driving lights* can also be specified which can be
seen both at night and day.
Similarly, at the rear, three prominent red claws
mask three rows of LED lights. The sides of the
car are purposefully streamlined, enhanced by the
contours of the satin chrome-edged windows**.

Storage
The 508 and 508 SW boasts a number of
carefully designed storage spaces for optimum
use of space and enhanced comfort: a glove
compartment with fresh air ventilation*, two cup
holders in the front, and two in the rear*, bottle
holders in each door panel, arm rest storage
and a detachable ashtray.

air conditioning control.

Seats
The front seats have been developed with
3 requirements in mind: style, comfort and
support. They are also available with electric*
and heated options*. Better still, you can enjoy
the ultimate comfort of a massage in the
driver’s chair combined with memory settings
when the vehicle is selected with Nappa

and front passenger the option of altering the
length of their seats thanks to the adjustable

In order to be able to offer you greater

A unique panoramic glass roof
508 SW can be selected with a unique* panoramic glass roof
which stretches as far as the back seats. Inside, this creates an
extraordinary feeling of space and outside, a dynamic and modern
style. Measuring 1.62 m2, it is both an exceptional source of sunlight
and a source of well-being. For enhanced comfort, it is equipped
with an electric blind to provide shade. With 5 set positions,
its rotating sequential control means you can adjust it to suit

PRACTICAL FACILITIES
A huge boot
Each category of 508 and 508 SW offers outstanding boot
space. Space is optimised both in the Saloon and SW version.
Numerous storage solutions are also available. The boot
of the 508 SW is practical and spacious*, with a generous
capacity of 660 litres (560 dm3 VDA) rising to 1,865 litres
(1,598 dm3 VDA) with seatbacks folded. These capacities
include storage under the boot carpet of 48 litres (42 dm3
VDA)**. The modular load cover of the SW can be folded
to divide up the boot and gain easier access to the storage
spaces. The boot of the 508 SW can be opened thanks to
a motorised tailgate*** which is either controlled remotely
from the driver’s seat or boot flap.
*Saloon: 545 litres (515 dm3 according to the VDA standard), with the
seats up. With the seatbacks folded, this rises to 1,581 litres (1,381 dm3
according to the VDA standard). These capacities include storage
under the boot floor equivalent to 48 litres (42 dm3 VDA**).

Keyless Entry*
With the 508 or 508 SW, customers have the opportunity of using
electronic recognition rather than the traditional key. So, with the
identifier still in your pocket or handbag you can access your
vehicle, start it and stop it simply by pressing the Start/Stop button
on the dashboard. The vehicle can be locked again simply by
touching the door handle as you leave.

This equipment displays essential driving information in colour

THE LATEST IN TECHNOLOGY
Audio and navigation systems
The 508 and 508 SW is either equipped with a WIP audio
sound system or with the WIP Nav+ navigation system*.
The radio CD MP3 WIP is connected to 6 or 8 speakers**.
It is fitted as standard with a jack socket/USB port and can
also be equipped with a Bluetooth® hands-free kit*.
The WIP Nav+* next-generation navigation system includes
a Europe-wide navigation system which will help you to
take the right route, an MP3 CD radio, a 7” colour screen,
a Bluetooth® hands-free kit and a jack socket/USB port.
It also provides access to local emergency and assistance
services (Peugeot Connect SOS and Peugeot Connect
Assistance services). It is controlled from the designator
located on the central console or on the steering wheel for
the most-used controls.

The jack socket/USB port that comes as standard with the
entire 508 range is integrated into a space under the central
armrest. This allows you to connect your personal stereo
to it. When using a USB connection, all the information is
displayed on the multi-function screen and you can access
the various functions from the steering wheel.

The Arkamys system and the JBL HIFI kit
508 and 508 SW come with the Arkamys digital sound
processing system as standard which delivers a more
natural sound environment. This system positions the sound
at windscreen level, and the devices and voices are carefully
situated, opposite the passengers. If you want to step into
the world of High Fidelity, the 508 and 508 SW also offer
a JBL HIFI kit* with 10 speakers combined with a 500W
amplifier. Along with these 10 speakers, the 508 range
also includes a central speaker located in the middle of
the dashboard and a bass box in the boot.

Exterior: rear bumper with double chrome exhaust, black
gloss front radiator grill and specific alloy wheels, it just oozes

SAFETY
Braking system and ESP*
All versions of the 508 and 508 SW add
top-notch road holding and a high level
of active safety thanks to the ESP traction
control system. It groups the Anti-lock
Braking System (ABS), Anti-Skid Regulation
(ASR), Electronic Brake-Force Variation
(EBV and CBC), Emergency Braking
Assistance (EBA), Motor Stall Regulation
(MSR) and Intelligent Traction Control that
optimise the 508’s and 508 SW’s progress
when road grip is precarious.

The electric parking brake combines
automatic tension when the engine stops
and automatic release on acceleration.
The Hill Assist function combined with EPB
holds momentarily (2 sec) when the vehicle

The cruise control is used to maintain a
constant speed while the speed limiter is

At night, the dedicated camera
constantly analyses driving conditions
(oncoming vehicles, trailing vehicles,

Additional directional lighting
When the dipped headlamps or
main beam headlamps are on and the
vehicle’s speed is less than 40 km/h,
the front fog lamps light up the inside
of a corner. This additional lighting is
especially noticeable in urban driving,
at intersections, on sinuous roads, in
parking manoeuvres, etc.
Airbags
In case of a collision, 6 airbags increase the occupants’
protection: 2 front airbags, 2 front lateral airbags and 2 front
and rear lateral airbags.
Headrest
The new front seat headrest on the 508 and 508 SW, with
integrated adjustment, can be positioned at the precise
desired height. Their size and wrap-around shape means
they can be adjusted close to the occupants’ head, thereby
providing a excellent level of protection in the event of an
impact.
