Good evening, Apex Middle families, Welcome back - we hope you have had an enjoyable winter break with family and friends! Mr. Allen Ellzey begins as the principal of Apex Middle on Monday, January 5th: Cougar Family, I am very excited to return to Apex Middle School on January 5, 2015 as principal. I started my WCPSS career here and served for eleven years as a teacher and assistant principal. With the eight and a half years as principal at Salem Middle included, I have been part of the Apex community for almost 20 years and know how important the academic success of your student is. I look forward to getting to know your student and your family in the coming weeks and months. I am eager to continue building on the framework that is already well underway here with this outstanding staff and your student working together this school year. I want to thank Dr. Tom Dixon, the administrative team, and this staff for their efforts during this interim period since Dr. Hedrick left for her new assignment back in September. Students that wish to purchase breakfast will report directly to the cafeteria when they arrive, go through the line, and take their meal to their homeroom where they can sit and eat. We encourage our students to eat breakfast either at home or at school.
