Public Skating February 2015
Cost: $2.75 per person per skate
Rules of Conduct
 Skate in the same direction as other skaters
 Horseplay, games, tag are not permitted
 Skating backwards is not permitted
 Figure skating skills are not permitted
 Speed skating is not permitted
 Balls, pucks, chairs, pylons or hockey sticks are not to be used while skating
 Headsets, cell phones or handheld electronic devices are not to be used while skating
 Children should wear helmets and mittens
 Carrying of children is not permitted
 Strollers, wagons and toboggans are not permitted on the ice
 Helmets are strongly recommended for everyone on the ice (helmet lending is available for City Public Skates)
 Maximum 160 skaters on ice

 All children must be accompanied by a participating adult and helmets and mittens are mandatory for all
participants in this program.
 CSA Approved Skating Aids will be permitted for family skates only.
 Please pay for your wristband at the front desk for these skates and wear them on the ice.
