Hang out, play some games, have discussion about the Gospel, have small groups, then eat! Finishing up the GOSPEL acrostic. We are wrestling through a bunch of big stuff & it has been amazing! ✦ Dare 2 Share: Is a conference that helps us find ways to talk about our faith in Jesus with our friends. It will be in Columbus March 6 & 7. The cost is $60 a person plus bring some money for 3 meals. Sign up deadline is Sunday, February 22. Go to dare2share.org to see more about what the conference is like. ✦ Middle School Small Group: Middle School will meet on Wednesdays, Feb. 4, 11, 18, & 25 from 6:30-7:30pm in the youth room. we’ll hangout, enjoy some snacks, & start a new series about 4 different ways to understand the word LOVE. (Yeah, you bet we’ll have Valentines candy all month!) ✦ Backpacks for Arlington Snapshot Elementary: Tuesday, Feb. 17 we Sundays, have an opportunity to pack Feb. 8, 15, & 22 lunches for the students at (grades 6-12) Arlington Elementary School. 5:30-7:30pm Meet at Southern Hills at 5:30pm. We’ll go down to Embrace Church Upcoming on N. Limestone to pack the Events meals. If you need a ride let Brian Youthband or Samantha know. We should be & back at SH by 8 or 8:30pm. Middle School ✦ Confirmation: Sunday, Feb. Small Group 1. Join us for the 11:00 service in Wednesdays, the sanctuary. Afterwards we’ll Feb. 4, 11, 18 & 25 share a meal together in the 6:30-7:30pm activities room by the gym, then Movie Night dive into our discussion time. Friday, Feb. 27 Confirmation is a chance for us to 6:00-8:00pm dig deep, look at some major ideas behind Christianity, & take High School ownership of our faith. Small Group This second session we will be Thursdays, covering the Holy Spirit, Church, & Feb. 5, 12, 19, & 26 New Creation. We will be done at 6:30-7:30pm 2:30pm. Confirmation ✦ Movie Night: Friday, Feb. 27 Sunday, Feb. 1 6:00-8:00pm. We’ll be watching 12:00-2:30pm The BoxTrolls. So wear your finest box attire & join us! ✦ Youth Band: Join us Wednesdays, Feb. 4, 11, 18, & 25 from 7:30-8:30pm in the youth room as we plan for Sunday nights & work on some songs to worship God & lead worship in the Source sometime in February or March! ✦ High School Small Group: 6:30-7:30pm Thursday nights Feb. 5, 12, 19, & 26. We’ll meet at the cafe in Good Foods on Southland Drive. You can grab some food or a tasty drink there but you don’t have to. We just want a space to see each other during the week, do a small BRIAN SHUMARD- YOUTH PASTOR devotion, & pray for each other. This is a great chance to invite friends & start conversations about God’s love. ✦ Super Bowl Party: Sunday, Feb. 1 from 6:30-9pm we'll hangout, watch the game, have some pizza & snacks, and play games. Bring some friends and have some fun. Parents are invited to join us. We’ll take on P, E, & L. God created us to be with Him. Our sins separate us from God. Sins cannot be removed by good deeds. Paying the price for sin, Jesus died and rose again. Everyone who trusts in Him alone has eternal life. Life with Jesus starts now & lasts forever.
