CLARIFICATION SESSION
Compulsory briefing/clarification meeting will be held at 10:00
Friday 13th February 2015 at Southern office block ground floor
CTIA (Cape Town International Airport). Bidding documents
will be available at the briefing session for purchasing till
16:00 on the same day.

Bidders to attend compulsory site briefing
Minimum 5 years company track record in maintenance
and repairs of fuel hydrant systems and systems of a
similar nature and scope – proof and values of contracts
engaged in to be submitted.
Bidders must have a CIDB grading of 5ME and submit
proof thereof.
No tender will be awarded to any person whose tax
matters have not been declared in order by the South
African Revenue Services .i.e. submission of a valid tax
clearance certificate.
Acceptance of ACSA Terms & Conditions of tender.

A letter of undertaking from the Bidder’s Insurers
confirming Public liability Insurance.
EVALUATION
Bidders must satisfy the Mandatory Administration Criteria in
order for them to be evaluated further. Proposals will be
evaluated in 3 Phases:
Mandatory Administration Requirements
Functionality is a threshold phase which will disqualify bidders
not meeting minimum requirements.
Phase Two - Functionality
Phase Three - Price & B-BEEE
This phase is based on the 90/10 Preference point system in
terms of the preferential procurement Policy Framework Act,
with 90 reflecting price and 10 reflecting B-BBEE recognition.
ACSA will only accept the DTI criteria as proof of B-BBEE
status.
Phase Three – Objective Criteria
Bidders will be evaluated based on objective criteria as
indicated in the RFB Document
