Airports Company South Africa SOC Ltd invites suitably
qualified tenderers to submit bids for the above services.
COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Tender documents will be made available on request from
Monday 13 October 2014 at 09h00 subject to valid proof of
payment. A non-refundable fee of R200 (Vat incl.) is payable
either by bank deposit or EFT. Banking details are: Nedbank,

CLARIFICATION SESSION
Compulsory briefing and clarification meeting will be held at
15h00 on Monday 20 October 2014 at George Airport, 1st Floor
Boardroom, ACSA offices, George Airport.
CLOSING DATE
The bid closes on Wednesday 05 November 2014 at 12h00.
All bid documents must be provided in duplicate (printed) format
and sealed in a clearly marked envelope/package marked with
Bidder’s name, return address and Bid Description and must
be hand delivered or deposited into the tender box situated on

Airports Company South Africa reserves a right to withdraw,
cancel or not award any issued tender.
MANDATORY ADMINISTRATION CRITERIA
Proposals that do not meet the following criteria will be
disqualified and will not be evaluated:
1. Attendance of compulsory site meeting 20 October 2014 at
15h00.
2. Bidders must have a minimum CIDB grading of 4CE or higher.
3. Acceptance of ACSA Terms & Conditions of Bid.
4. Valid SARS Tax Clearance Certificate.
NB: No tender will be awarded to any person whose tax
matters have not been declared to be in order by the South
African Revenue Services.
EVALUATION
Bidders must satisfy the Mandatory Administration Criteria
in order for them to be evaluated further. Proposals will be
evaluated in three phases:

Phase One – Mandatory Administration Requirements
Mandatory Administration Requirements is a threshold phase
which will disqualify bidders not meeting minimum requirements.
Phase Two - Functionality

Phase Three - Price & B-BEEE
This phase is based on the 90/10 Preference point system in
terms of the Preferential procurement Policy Framework Act,
with 90 points reflecting price and 10 points reflecting B-BBEE
recognition. ACSA will only accept the DTI criteria as proof of
B-BBEE status.
TRANSFORMATION IMPERATIVES
Airports Company South Africa subscribes to the National
Transformation Imperatives and B-BBEE objectives as such
it will appoint service provider(s) who are transformed in
terms of Codes of Good Practice requirements and targets.
Transformation Imperatives include but are not limited to skills
development, enterprise development, localization, etc
