A Word from the
Festival Director
We are excited to bring the 53rd National Jazz Festival to our
wonderful city over Easter weekend 2015.
There will be familiar faces and events as well as an array of exciting new musicians
and performers. Our community and visitors alike will find entertainment and
memorable experiences over the five days of the festival.
We kick off the festival with the first of the concert series, a star-studded gala event –
Divas with a Twist – at Baycourt. Our popular community events return: the Downtown
Carnival, our New Orleans French Quarter known as the Jazz Village and the mass of
talented youth who make the National Youth Jazz Competition a must-see event.
We look forward to seeing you between 2-6 April 2015.
Becks Chambers – Festival Director

We couldn’t put together this amazing event without support and assistance from our
local community: a big thank you to everyone involved with making this festival a
weekend to remember.
