The Ballaghaderreen Foróige Club is being
re-established and a registration evening is
being held on Friday 6th March at 8.00 pm
in the Phoenix Centre, Ballaghaderreen. The
Club is open to young people 12-18yrs. The
purpose of Foróige is to enable young people
to involve themselves consciously and actively in their development and in the development of society (or, you can just have

“Come, let us return to the Lord; let us press on to
know the Lord; His appearing is as sure as the
dawn; He will come to us like the showers, like
the spring rains that water the earth.”
It is easy to stray from the Lord. Life is
filled with distractions and with people
and events that call to us and take us
down paths that God would not have us
travel. But, wonderfully our loving God
is always waiting for us, no matter how
far away we’ve strayed or for how long
we’ve neglected Him. As the prophet
Hosea says, we know this as surely as
the sun will rise again and the spring
rains will come. Knowing this, what
will we do these days of Lent to grow in
our relationships with God?
Let us pray:
Holy Spirit, you are always ready to guide us back
to God. Give me the nudge I need today to take
time to nurture my relationship with you. Amen
