These scholarships are for $300 each and are for any student returning to RCHS with at least a 2.5 GPA and involved in school activities. You may not be a NHS member. The applications need to be returned to Mrs. Slaight in room 105 by 3:30 on March 19. ACTIVITY SCHEDULE 3/3 – Lenten Prayer Service 3/4 – Senior Exit/ FEA/ Pro-Life The Red Cross scholarship is for graduating seniors who donated, attempted to donate or volunteered at least twice at Roncalli Catholic Blood drives. SPIRIT DAY $1 3/6 – Post-Prom This year the scholarship is worth $1,000. Pick up applications from Mrs. Leak on Wednesday March 4, and return them to her by March 20, 2015 BEFORE / AFTER SCHOOL DUTY Week of March 2 Before – Mr. Byrd After- Mr. Schlueter LOST & FOUND: Remember to check the lost and found for any missing items including coats and lunch boxes. (3/6). LIFE IS SWEET (PRO-LIFE) WEEK EVENTS March 2-6 1. Monday- Adopt a Baby (Hashtag Your Baby): Students will receive miniature babies. They will then create a hashtag, take a “selfie" with the baby, hashtag it and send it to [email protected]. The six most creative selfies will win candy prizes. Picture Ideas/Suggestions: Most adorable/cutest baby Crimson Pride baby Music/Drama baby Sports baby Best dressed/formal Rules: Must be a selfie, No profanity No provocative clothing on baby or student Pro-Life Club members may NOT participate 2. Tuesday- Baby bottle (Penny War) - Money raised will be donated to the Pregnancy Center. The winning Homeroom gets a pizza party. 3. Wednesday - Free Movie night in the Gustafson Center, 5:15 – 7 p.m. We will be showing the movie “40.” Pizza, popcorn, candy and soft drinks will be provided free of charge. 4. Thursday- Scavenger hunt with the babies all around the school. 5. Friday- Hunger Banquet and Pro-life Cupcakes to help celebrate the lives of people who never had a chance to celebrate birthdays. Everyone gets a cupcake during lunch. BEFORE SCHOOL DUTY is from 7:45 to 8:04 each morning. The teacher must be present in the Sheehan Student Center to monitor students during this time and also to monitor traffic down the hallways. No students may go down the hallway unless they have a pass or accompanied by a teacher. AFTER SCHOOL DUTY consists of the monitoring the Sheehan Student Center and the front of the school building area from the End of the Day Prayer to 3:40. Administration will monitor the school's parking lot. If you are unable to supervise during your assigned period, please switch with another teacher and inform the office of your substitute.
