As a Christian, you are a caretaker of the unique
God-given gifts of life. The way you conclude your
trusteeship is the way you say “thank you.” Many who
wish to continue their Christian stewardship after death
have provided for our parish in their Wills – through
simple bequests and other life plans. Ways to use your
Will would include a percentage of your estate, a specific amount, the remainder of your estate, or specific
property left to our parish.

“We proclaim Christ crucified…
the power and wisdom of God.”

on Facebook; at www.myvocation.net;

News from Seton Academy
A Special Thank You
Our sympathy and sincere “Thank You” to the family of William
Schule for suggesting memorial gifts to Set Academy in lieu of
flowers, to honor the memory of William, who passed away recently. William will be missed, but will be remembered in the
Masses and prayers of our students. The money received from
family and friends will help a student find his/her home in Christ.
Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

was to be a house of prayer, not of commerce. We too are temples. We are temples of
the Holy Spirit. We are to be in communion with
Jesus, to have our hearts set on him. How often, when we kneel
down to pray, or try to silence our hearts to speak with Jesus, all our
distractions, to-do lists, come to mind. We think of all the other
things we could be doing, things that to others might seem more
productive than prayer. So often we give into the temptation to
walk away from our prayer to more active pursuits. Let us ask the
Lord to clean our hearts and minds from all that would distract us
from spending time with him, things that pull us away from the
Kingdom of God. Let us approach Jesus in honest prayer, even offering him our distractions and share what is deep in our hearts, that
we may come to know his great love for us.

GENEROSITY COMES IN ALL FORMS
St. Augustine’s Parish has been blessed in receiving
many gifts in lieu of the donations in memory of longtime parishioner Jeannine Clemons.
To date, the received donations in Mrs. Clemons
honour is $1,510. Not to mention the several Masses
that have been booked in her name. We humbly thank
everyone for the gracious benevolence and selflessness.
We would also like to thank the Clemons family for
considering the parish in regards to Jeannine’s memorial donations.
May the soul of our dearly departed sister,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
SATURDAY NIGHT REMINDER!!

BERKSHIRE FARM CENTER NEEDS YOU!!
Children who need foster and adoptive families have often
been removed from their birth families for reasons of abuse ,
neglect, abandonment, and/or other issues endangering their
health and safety.
Many of these children are filled with fear, anger, confusion, or a sense of powerlessness at having been removed from
the only home they have ever known.
Many are sibling
groups, older children, or young teens. Some have developmental, physical, emotional, or behavioral problems. They all
need safe, supportive, loving homes.
Berkshire Farm Center and Services for Youth is a statewide,
non-profit child welfare agency with a distinguished 126 year
history of providing specialized therapeutic and educational
services to children and families.
Berkshire’s Farm Center’s mission is “to strengthen children and families so they can live safely, independently, and
productively in their home communities.”
At Berkshire, they provide an intensive preparation program; annual specialized training; support groups; on-call team
members who are available 24/7; child/family matchups based
on family strengths and the child’s needs. Every family must
be cleared by a Criminal Background Check and State Central
Registry.
If this sounds like something that may be calling you, please
contact Kristena Hebert 518-491-3758 or email her at
[email protected] .
HOLY WEEK IS
