• Preparing monthly financial reports for the Secretary-Treasurer and Board as well as the annual
financial statement for audit by the external auditors.
• Developing and monitoring internal control procedures and records.
• Working extensively with SRB financial software and maintain the currency of all financial
accounting systems.
• Assisting in the development of annual budgets.
• Training, directing and evaluating accounting staff.
• Maintaining the purchase card program and charitable donation program.
• Maintaining jurisdiction banking operations and the integration of school generated funds.
• Sitting on internal and external committees.
Required and/or preferred:
• Professional accounting designation
• A minimum of 5 years of previous accounting experience
• Prior experience in school business operations and SRB accounting software is preferred

• Influence visitors to do more and extend their stay in Canmore and Alberta.
• Help make visitors vacations amazing.
• Sell retail merchandise, Park Passes and Greyhound.
Qualifications: All candidates must be enthusiastic, friendly, welcoming, a great team player and
with great communication skills. You must be interested in the tourism industry with an eagerness to
promote the area. Knowledge of a second language, experience with activities in the local area and
understanding of destinations in Alberta are considered to be assets.

Please note: This is a seasonal full time position from May–September with the possibility of
extension; you will be expected to remain flexible in scheduling, work weekends and statutory holidays.
Hourly Wage: $16.50
• Oversee daily operations of both Information Centres.
• Supervise Visitor Information Centre Staff including scheduling, ensure exceptional customer service
and continuous training.
• Fulfil administrative responsibilities.
• Act as a liaison between Visitor Information Centres, Canmore Business & Tourism and Alberta
Ministry of Culture & Tourism.
• Oversee training and reconciliation of Greyhound.
Qualifications: The successful candidate must be a natural leader and immersed in the Canmore
Community. Have excellent interpersonal, communication and promotional skills as well as a vast
knowledge of the local community, accommodation and activities. Must have exceptional organisational,
multi-tasking and computer skills. Experience with reservations and project management are required.
All eligible candidates must have a high school diploma and some experience in a supervisory position.
Please note: This is a full time, permanent position.
Hourly Wage: $38,000 salaried. Benefits Package Included for extended health care.
