Tynedale SC Invitational Meet Wentworth Leisure Centre Sunday 29th March 2015 Venue: Wentworth Leisure Centre Hexham NE46 3PD The pool is a new 6 lane 25m deck level with anti-turbulence ropes with electronic timing, turning boards and diving blocks that meet the required standard. The meet management system will be SportSystems, and the electronic timing system will be Daktronics. The pool depth is 1.8m at start end to 0.9m at shallow end. There will be a continuous swim down facility (17m x 7m). Spectator seating is limited, further viewing is available from the cafe area. All Spectator entry will be at a cost of £5 all day /£3 per session. Programmes will be available at £3 each. Coach’s passes are available at £5 each to include refreshments. A cafe is available at the leisure centre serving a menu as well as tea coffee etc. Meet Conditions All swimmers must be registered with the club they are representing. 1. The meet will be swum under ASA Laws & Technical Rules. 2. A level 3 License has been applied for. 3. Only those swimmers who have achieved the ASA Comp Start award may start from the blocks. Swimmers who have not achieved this should start in the water. 4. Heats will be seeded according to submitted entry times. Times and placing displayed are for information only and may not reflect the official result. The referee’s decision is final. 5. There is no upper cut off times. However if oversubscribed rejections will be made from the swimmers with entry times faster than the attached AA qualifying times. 8 and 9 year olds will both be rejected if faster than the 9 year times. We would aim to accept an equal number of both age groups. (Please note that because the meet is invitational it is not expected that we will need to reject any swimmers). 6. Awards will be made to the fastest swimmers on or under the NER times as follows:  fastest six swimmers in age group 8/9/10 ,  fastest three 11/12/13/14  fastest three 15 and over Speeding tickets will be given to swimmers obtaining times faster than NER times. Age will be as of 29th march 2015. 8. Entries shall be made by electronic entry files available from GEOFF PARKIN at [email protected] and returned to GEOFF by Friday 13th March 2015. 9. The summary sheet and cheque should be returned directly to Alicia Ryan (47, Elvaston Rd, Hexham, NE46 2HD) by the 27th March 2015. 10. Cost £4.50/ event. 11. Anyone wishing to use photographic equipment must register at reception and be seen wearing the appropriate permit. 12. Access to pool-side is limited to swimmers, coaches, officials and authorized helpers. 13.
