bulletin - Trinity United Methodist Church

Welcome to Trinity United Methodist Church! We are
190 years young and are so happy you have chosen to worship
with us this morning. It is our fervent prayer that you will feel
warmly welcomed in our church family and that you will
experience God’s presence in a mighty way. If you are new to
Tallahassee, we hope you will consider making Trinity your
church home. If you are just passing through, we pray God’s
blessings upon your journey and that this service of worship
will be an uplifting and meaningful time for you. Again,
welcome!

Mount to illustrate what is demanded of us as disciples of the Gospel who are committed to our civic
duty, born of love and sacrifice.
BIBLE JOURNEYS (Rm 306): The cur r ent ser ies is entitled, “DELIVER US FROM EVIL.”- “Let
those who love the Lord hate evil for He guards the lives of His faithful ones and delivers them from the
hand of the wicked.” (Psalm 97:10)

about the foundations of the Christian faith. We are a safe and accepting community that meets each
week to discuss both controversial and mundane aspects of our own and others’ religious worldviews.

looks at the application of faith and actions to major events in the news. For March 15th, the topic is
“News Reporting and Public Trust.” The inaccuracies reported by anchor Brian William concerning
the Iraq War in 2003 cause us to examine news reporting, public trust and what faith issues inform our
understanding of accuracy in journalism.
WESLEY BIBLE STUDY CLASS (Rm 310): This fellowship for per sons of all ages cur r ently uses
the Adult Bible Studies Series to gain a biblical foundation for their faith. Newcomers are always
