Announcements 28th – 29th March, 2015
1. Today is Palm Sunday. May we participate more deeply in the death and resurrection of
Our Lord as we enter Holy Week.
2. The Pastoral Council meeting will be held on 29th March, in the Nihar Hall at 10:00 a.m.
3. On Sunday, the Passion Litany will take place at 5:15 pm followed by the Veronica Passo
Service at 5:30 pm on the Church grounds. There will be no 5:15 pm Mass .The 6:30 pm and
the 7:30 pm Masses will be celebrated as usual.
4. The Holy Week Programme is published in the `Reaching Out’ and the Banner outside the
Church.
5. All parishioners are requested that they receive a copy of The Sacramental Guidelines along
with the “Reaching Out” April issue. If you do not receive a copy please contact your Parish
Councillor or Animator. These Sacramental Guidelines have been prepared to assist you at
the time of celebrating the sacraments.
6. The Novena in preparation for the feast of Divine Mercy begins on Good Friday, 3 rd April,
2015 and will be held daily at 3 pm in the Church.
7. The Church office will remain closed from the evening of Maundy Thursday till the evening
of Easter Monday. Though the Church office staff will be on duty in the office at some time
during this period, please do not approach them for routine matters.
8. The Parish Bible Class will take place on Tuesday, 31st March after the 7:00 pm Mass in the
Nihar Hall. All are welcome.
9. Parishioners who wish to teach in Sunday school are requested to collect a registration form
from the Church office and submit it latest by 5th April.
10. The `Orlem Cent- a- Fest’ has been postponed to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd May, 2015. The admin
office for the Fete will be located next to the Prayatna office and will be open from 6:00 pm
to 8:00 pm from Monday to Saturday. Sponsorship forms for the Fete will be available at
the admin office.
11. As we are nearing the end of the financial year, you are requested to contribute to the
“Lourdes Community Fund’. The amount received is utilized to reach out to persons in need.
Envelopes for this purpose are placed in the Church near the entrances and are also
available in the Church Office. Contributions are to be dropped by the end of the month to
be accounted for this financial year.
12. Admissions are open for the National Institute of Open School, (NIOS) Delhi Board, Std. X
and Nihar Special School from 30th March, 2015, from 9 am to 10 am at the Nihar School.
13. Lourdes Sports Committee will have its Summer Camp and Sports Excellence Program for
Skating, Hockey, Football and Basket Ball starting from 6th April. Please refer the Banner and
Notice Board for further details.

14. The Sisters of the Home for the Aged, Andheri will make a collection on 28th & 29th March.
Kindly be generous.
15. Prayatna is having a sale of clothes on the 11th & 12th April, 2015.
