2015 Spring Fun Run (-n-Roll)
Today begins a very important, fun and healthy way to raise money for the
Alma Elementary Schools! No selling is involved, and 100% of the profits will
go to benefit our elementary schools through the PTO.
This, our last fundraiser for the year, will help fund new technology and books in your
child’s/children’s classroom(s) while promoting a healthy lifestyle to our students and the
community. Please help us reach our fundraising goal by supporting our Fun Run (-n-Roll).
o Please help us by helping your child raise a total of $50.00 in pledge donations.
o It’s easy! Just help your child gather five $10.00 flat pledges or more.
Follow these Simple Steps to Pledge Success!
1. Register your Child for our Fun Run by visiting thegetmovincrew.com.
When choosing your child’s grade, use “Pre-K” for Young-5s and all Pre-K
programs and “Sp.Ed.” for all RESD and Special Education Classrooms.
2. Friends and Family want to help your child be successful and share in their
achievements. Use the student fundraising page to promote online pledge
donations using the email & social media tools right on their page. It’s Easy!
3. Watch your child’s Pledge Meter blast to the top fast! Cash/checks and
most credit/debit cards are accepted from anywhere in the world. Check your
child’s web page often to see all pledges they’ve received in “real time”.
4. Reach Pledge Superstar status by going above and beyond and fireworks
ignite on your page.

Early Pledge Due Date: Tuesday 4/21/2015 (one week before the run)
Final Pledge due date: Thursday 4/30/2015
Pledges can be made by cash, check (make checks payable to Alma
elementary PTO) or online using a credit/debit card. Online pledges
are made through your child’s fundraising page.

Sp.Ed/RESD, Pre-K and Y5 = Blue
K = Yellow
1st = Red
2nd = Green
3rd = Purple

Individual Pledge Rewards
All students are encouraged to reach their individual pledge goal of $50.00.
All Rewards below are cumulative based on the total amount raised by each student.*

All students will receive a frozen ice-pop at the completion of the Fun Run

Raise $10 = Running for a Reason wristband
Raise $25 = LED Flashing Glo Sunglasses
Raise $50 = Pedometer
Raise $50 by the Early Pledge Due Date of 4/21/15, receive the pedometer on the day of
(before) the Fun Run.
Raise $100 = Outdoor picnic lunch with Principal/Teacher
o PLUS, be entered into a raffle to win a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 lite – one per school
Raise $150 = Pair of LED Flashing Glo Shoelaces
o PLUS, get a second entry into the Samsung Galaxy raffle

Go Above & Beyond – Be a Pledge Superstar!
Raise $200 = Principal/PE Teacher for part of the day
o PLUS, Pledge Superstar Gold Medal
o PLUS, be entered into a raffle to win an Apple iPad Air – one per school
o For every $50 raised over $200, you will get an additional entry into the iPad raffle

* Students who raise between $100 and $199 will be entered into the drawing to win a Samsung
Galaxy (one per school). Students who raise $200 or more will be entered into the drawing to win
the Apple iPad Air. A student cannot win both devices.
Classroom Pledge Rewards

All classrooms that reach their classroom goal will get to vote on one of the following:
o Free Pajama Day
o Extra Recess

Grade Level Rewards
The Top Classroom from each grade that has the most pledges will receive a visit from one of
Duhadway Dance Dimensions instructors for an in-school tumbling lesson, PLUS the teachers
of these classrooms will receive a $50 Walmart gift card!

Top Classroom Reward
The Top Classroom from each of the two participating schools that has the most pledges will
receive an in-classroom chemistry demonstration by Alma College professor and chemist, Dr.
Jeff Turk, PLUS the teachers of these classrooms will receive a second $50 Walmart gift card!
