Beta Delta Alumni Events
With the 106th Drake Relays nearing, it is time to talk about the
events that the Beta Delta Chapter will be hosting. There will be two
alumni events at the house during Relays weekend. On Friday, April
24th, members who have joined since the re-chartering are invited to
the house from 7 – 9 PM to talk and reminisce with current members
of the chapter. On Saturday, April 25th from 11-1 we will be grilling
hotdogs and hamburgers. The house is located at 2846 Brattleboro Avenue, one block from campus and the Drake Alumni House. All alumni
and parents are welcome, and the house will be open to visit throughout the week.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Journey of Hope
Michael McAllister, a recently initiated member of the Beta Delta
Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi, will be doing Journey of Hope this summer.
Journey of Hope is one of the many Philanthropies that is run by the
national chapter. As a cyclist for the event, he will bike nearly 4,000
miles over the course of the summer, as well as perform in various
philanthropic events. As part of the event he is hoping to raise
$6,000 by mid-April.
If you would like to contact Michael you can reach him via email at:
[email protected].

First Annual War of the Roses
The first annual War of The Roses will be this year!
Brothers will be biking 100 hours continually through the night
and day. Bike World of Iowa is graciously donating four bikes so
that we can have involvement from campus fraternities, sororities, and the Drake community. Pie a PiKapp, Penny War, Push
Ups for PiKapp and Compassion Cookies are returning, along
with a new initiative, the Empathy Dinner - a dinner where people will learn about and experience disabilities, all while enjoying
delicious food! Campus partner Best Buddies will be integrated
throughout the week.
There will be more surprises to come throughout the week, keep
an eye on our Facebook page for more information!
Website
We recently redesigned our website, including a new alumni section where you can reconnect with Beta Delta alumni! If you would like to be included in the section, please fill out
this form. You can find the alumni page here—the password is “threeknocks”.
Thank You!
Thank you for reading about our events this semester. As a chapter, we are eternally grateful
to those who have donated to us, our Chapter Investment Fund, and our philanthropies. If
you would like to contribute in any way, contact us at [email protected].
