Even the flower appliqué is not what it seems—to keep the wild stripes in line, the petals are cut as one! Layer backing, batting, and quilt top; baste. Quilt as desired. Quilt shown was outline-quilted in appliqué blocks, with a flower design in setting triangles, with a continuous leaf design in inner border, and with meandering in pieced blocks, appliqué block background, and in outer border (Quilting Diagram). 2. Join 2¼"-wide purple strips into 1 continuous piece for straightgrain French-fold binding. Add binding to quilt.
