Greetings Fellow Ruritans
Welcome to the 2015 ANCR (Association of North Carolina Ruritans) annual
State Rally. We welcome you to enjoy the activities planned, hospitality room
and the fellowship.
We extend a very special welcome to the out-of-state Ruritans, their families and
friends attending this Annual Rally. We appreciate you.
I want to express my sincere gratitude to all the North Carolina Ruritans for your
support and for allowing me to serve as your ANCR President during the year
2014 - 2015.
Thanks to each of you for the planning, many hours and hard work in supporting
our hospitality room and fundraising at the National Convention. It could not
have been a success without you. Many thanks to the ANCR Board of Directors
for your cooperation and support during my tenure. The confidence you
demonstrated allowed us to have a successful year with increased attendance.
The Piedmont District is hosting our Rally this year. We send special thanks to
the host district, especially the Rockhouse, Copeland and Shoals Ruritan Clubs
for their sincere Ruritan hospitality. We thank the Piedmont District for all
contributions.
As we close out another successful year in ANCR/ Ruritan, let us all look back on
the new relationships and experiences, that we may use these as stepping
stones to grow Ruritan even more in our Communities, District and Nationally.
We pray you have an enjoyable weekend meeting old friends and getting to
make new ones. Walk the Walk for Ruritan while spreading Goodwill, Fellowship
and Community Service.
