This week:
The Senior Leadership Team carried out a full
review of Foundation Stage and Year One
provision with the teachers in those year groups
and were very proud and delighted with what the
children are achieving. Two parents’ evenings were
held and were well attended. Mrs Radge met with
the SENCos from cluster schools and discussed
our fabulous SEN provision. The whole school
entered an Interform Football Tournament and the
winning team will get a KC stadium tour as a prize!
The children and adults were excited to experience
the dark atmosphere of the solar eclipse and the
classes learned about what made it happen.
Phew! What a busy ‘star gazy, out of this world’
kind of school!

Last week’s Mrs Robinson’s Pop Feedback
We asked you: Do the children tell you about
any of the wonderful songs we sing at
school?
We had 14 replies. Thank you so much to those people
for taking the time to respond.
Some of the children clearly enjoy singing very much at
school and you have heard them singing the songs in
the bath, in the shower, in the car – all over the place!
I’m sure that it’s nice for you to know that in this day and
age of enhanced pressure, there are still creative outlets
built into the Primary School day for the children to enjoy
and develop. Most people find singing uplifting and we
have some truly gifted singers at Acre Heads – the
recording artists of the future perhaps?!

their parts so well. Loved the phone box and Mrs G

“Super job! Great to see all the children being so
enthusiastic in their performance and true dedication
to carry on even with sore throats for some – loved
the judge’s wig.”
“Performed with confidence. A real treat on true
facts through history.”
“A most excellent play about crime and punishment
throughout history. Credit to kids and teachers.”
“Great performance. Wonderful actors. Great way
of explaining crime and punishment through the
ages.”
