School, will share his technological expertise and his numerous years of experience
teaching AP French.

• Test format, scoring criteria & evaluation of student speaking & writing samples
• Thematic unit design, including formative and summative assessments & rubrics
• Model thematic units designed by AP French Consultants
• Podcasts & web applications
• Strategies to increase interpretation of print, audio-visual & auditory texts
• Principles of SLA research that inform standards-based teaching practices
AP French Consultant Timothy Farley, professor of French at Truman State
University, teaches AP Institutes in Missouri, Montreal, and Mobile, AL and has
given workshops in St. Louis, Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis & Columbus, OH.
