CULTURAL ROW EXHIBITOR APPLICATION
Application deadline for Culture/Country Exhibitor is APRIL 18, 2015 or until spots are filled.
Site of the festival will be at the Mira Mesa Community Park in Mira Mesa.
Applicants must submit an Application as well as the corresponding Agreement Form in the pages to follow.

The Asian Cultural Festival will provide 1 (10x10) tent, 2 tables, and 2 chairs. ALL exhibitors/vendors requiring electricity must pay $65.
Please check box if you need electricity (will cost $65).
Please provide a summary of what we can expect from your cultural display. Please remember that the cultural exhibition is the PRIMARY purpose
of this booth. Any fund raising activity MUST be secondary to the purpose of cultural display and exhibition. Any Cultural Exhibition booth used
primarily as a vendor/sales booth will be forced to cease ALL vending activities.

CULTURE/COUNTRY EXHIBITION AGREEMENT
1.
Set up must be completed by 9am. The Culture/Country Exhibit booths will get 2 tables and 2 chairs. You are
welcomed to bring more equipment, but we will not provide more than this.
2.
The Culture/Country Exhibit booths MUST be made to represent as best as possible the culture of the
represented country. This can be done with costume and traditional clothing, maps, relics, books, games, toys,
paintings and other art, and so on.
3.
The Culture/Country Exhibit will come at “no fee” to the organizing entity responsible for the booth.
a. However, the representing organization is not free from liability. Any misconduct or misrepresentation of
the festival or of the represented country will result in a forfeited exhibition.
b. Any damage resulting from representing organization will be invoiced to representing organization. Signing
will assure your liability for any damage caused by your organization.
4.
The representing organization will be allowed to use the Culture/Country Exhibit booth to promote their
organization and be recognized as the organizing entity.
a. They may place promotional material and other items related to their organization.
b. It is to be understood that the Culture/Country booth is first for representing the Culture/Country, and then
it can be allowed for the organizing entities material.
c. YOU MAY NOT USE YOUR BOOTH SOLELY AS A VENDOR BOOTH. Your booth is meant to represent the
culture first; any fund raising activity MUST BE secondary.
5.
The organizing entity will be expected to maintain the exhibit. Volunteers may be provided for assistance, but
the organizing entity will be responsible for the booth.
6.
The organizing entity must keep the area clean, otherwise be charged $150 for cleaning.
7.
The organizing entity may not sell or provide water, soda, or any beverages, unless otherwise agreed upon with
Cultural Exhibition Coordinator.
8.
The organizing entity may not operate any music device or DJ equipment without obtaining consent from the
Cultural Exhibition Coordinator.
9.
Organizing entity is required to give Cultural Exhibition Coordinator notice AT LEAST 30 DAYS BEFORE the festival
for withdrawing from exhibiting. Our committee must be given time to find a replacement.
10. By participating, you understand that at this event or related activities, you may be photographed or video
recorded and you agree to allow photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the
event holders, producers, or organizers.
11. You hereby assume all of the risks of participating and/or volunteering in this activity or event, and you waive,
release, and discharge from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence
or fault of the entities or persons released, for death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property
theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to you including traveling to and from this event. By
submitting, you understand and agree to the above rules.
