Thank You
We praise the Lord that the tumors on John’s kidney were
benign. As a result of the biopsy, however, there were
complications. We called for prayer and John is improving
daily. We thank you for your prayers, visits and cards of
encouragement during John’s illness. John and Erika Klassen

Membership Update - Michelle Ibson
When I was a child, I was like the rocky soil described in
Matthew 13. My faith was challenged by loss, my father died
when I was seven and my mother fell seriously ill when I was
twelve. My faith wilted away and it wasn't until I was
transplanted to the fertile soil of Abbotsford that my faith
bloomed again. When my husband and I moved here, I found a
shepherd and a mentor in Kathy Nikkel, a woman I came to
adopt as the sister I never had. Kathy took me under her wing
and began teaching me what it meant to be a Christian. Kathy
testified at my baptism at Ross Road Church and she walked
with me every step of the way ever since. I sometimes feel like I
walk through the valley of the shadow of death as Psalm 23
says, but the Lord is my Shepherd and He guides me and brings
me comfort at my darkest moments. I can't imagine my life
without Christ. Michelle attends the Contemporary Service and
is transferring her membership from Ross Road Community
Church.
Testimonies of the youth baptized this month can be viewed on
