Standards Classes
Basics :: Reconnects foundations of the practice with attention to yoga philosophy, correct bodily alignment, yogic breathing and intro to BYC elements.
Safe and gentle for beginners and all levels.
Open :: Integrates breath and movement in flowing sequences to increase internal heat while building stamina, strength and concentration. Building off
of the Basics class, this class supports advanced beginners and intermediate levels while including all of the BYC elements.
Gentle :: Supports self-inquiry and contemplative postures for a soothing and easeful practice. Safe and gentle for new beginners and all levels.
Yoga Beats :: Live or themed music Friday nights for All Levels - see website for more info.
Restorative :: A gentle, healing practice utilizing props, deep breathing and restful, grounded postures to help ease tension or soreness from the body.
Postures are easily accessible to all levels and transitioning is minimal to let the body relax deeply in each posture.
Sunday Flow :: Vinyasa Basics for all levels. A great way to wind down your weekend and get ready for a new week! Rotating weekly instructor.
Specialty Classes
Teen Yoga :: Yoga and movement for teens and late tweens with an upbeat approach, using music playlists created by the students. Class is non-competitive
and informal environment, supporting the expression of everybody’s unique selves. Package series only, pre-registration required.
Community Class :: Donation based all-levels yoga class with 100% of proceeds benefitting local organizations that support community health and wellness.
Kids Yoga (K-5) :: This playful yoga class is geared towards kids, grades K-5. Inspire and empower children through the art and philosophy of yoga. This class
will improve strength, flexibility, and coordination. They will also learn self-respect and respect for others with the practice of postures, group games, and
breathing. Children will not only gain the knowledge to focus and center themselves in a FUN and welcoming environment, but in their everyday lives as
well.
New Beginners Series :: 5-week series (excluding April 5th holiday) teaching the foundations of yoga to help students begin a practice. Learn through lecture,
demonstrations and individualized guidance to gain body awareness, build strength, flexibility and endurance through basic postures.
Spirit and Energetically Infused Classes
Kundalini Yoga :: This class is a combination of mantra, physical exercise and breathing techniques. It is an ideal practice in today’s fast paced world.
Designed for all levels of practitioners; beginners to advanced yogis, or for anyone who desires more vitality, prosperity, creativity and joy.
Kundalini Yoga & Meditation :: As taught by Yogi Bhajan, this class combines meditation, mantra, physical exercises and breathing techniques with a focus
on meditation and deep relaxation. Designed for people who desire more energy, clarity and guidance, this class is perfect for beginners, experienced yogis
and meditation practitioners from any school.
