The Birmingham Area WOC Nurses Association uses a portion of the proceeds of the
workshop to sponsor children to attend the
United Ostomy Association Youth Rally each
year, and to fund community projects.

Conference Center. Ground floor of the main parking

Objectives:
At the end of the workshop, it is anticipated that
each learner will be able to:
1.identify at least 2 conditions which commonly
cause problems with urination
2. List 3 procedures to decrease pressure ulcers
3. Identify 2 skin issues and ways to treat, in the
bariatric patient
4. State how the WTA program could help your
facility/agency
5. Demonstrate the appropriate techniques involved in the application of compression therapy

away at various times
during the conference!!!
