Cutting and Building Instructions
1. Trim Panel to measure 22-1/2” x 40-1/2”.
2. Cut four 4-patch blocks of the Boy Things Blocks fabric. Cut these 4-patches 1/4"outside the black/white check area
surrounding the 4 patch.
3. Cut four 9-patch blocks out of the Boy Things Blocks fabric. Cut these 9-patches 1/4" outside the black/white check area
surrounding the 9-patch.
4. From each of the 1/8 yard lime green cuts, cut a 2" x 42/44" strip
5. From each of the 1/8 yard purple and blue cuts, cut a 2-1/2" x 42/44" strip.
6. Sew a purple strip to a green strip, followed by a blue strip. Make 4 of these strip units.
7. Sew one of these units to the left side of the panel, green strip next to the panel. Follow with a unit to the right side of the
panel, green strip next to the panel. Trim sides to square up with the panel.
8. Trim the remaining 2 strip units to 22-1/2" in length each. Sew a 4-patch to the left end of one unit, followed by a 4-patch to
the right end of the same unit. Sew a four patch to the remaining unit, followed by the last 4-patch to the right end of the same
unit. The 4-patches all need to be facing the same way. Refer to the front picture as a guide.

Sew one strip / 4-patch unit to the top of the quilt, followed by the remaining strip / 4-patch unit to the bottom of the quilt. The
green strips in the units should be next to the panel.
Cut 6 strips from the purple tossed boy things fabric, each one measuring 8-1/2" x 42/44". Sew 2 strips together to make one
long strip. Make a second long strip identical to the first one. Sew one of these strips to the left side of the quilt, and the other
to the right side of the quilt. Trim the sides to square up the quilt.
Trim the remaining 2 purple strips to 32-1/2" in length each. Sew a 9-patch to the left end
of one strip, followed by a 9-patch to the right end of the same strip. Sew a 4-patch to the
remaining strip, followed by the last 9-patch to the right end of the same strip. The
9-patches all need to be facing the same way. Refer to the front picture as a guide.
Cut the 4 yards of purple with green swirls fabric into two 2 yard sections. Sew these two sections together to make the quilt
back.
Sandwich the quilt top, batting and backing together. Quilt as desired.
Cut binding strips per your favorite method out of the 1/2 yard of lime green sticks and stones fabric. Bind the quilt to
complete.
