Dear Parents/Carers,
GENERAL NEWS
NURTURE ASSISTANT:
We have today advertised for an
additional nurture assistant to work in our Robin Room from
10.30am until 1.30pm each day for 15hours in total. If you
are interested in this post, please apply on line at
www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/jobs
EASTER SERVICE: The service yesterday morning was truly
uplifting and splendid. It was wonderful to see quite so
many children actively involved in the service and the
church full of so many parents, grandparents and carers.
CROCUS CONCERT:
To quote the words of one of our
Governors who attended the Crocus Concert “The concert
yesterday evening was delightful and, as always, I am
really impressed with the musical skills of our children, some
of them quite small, and the obvious pleasure that they get
from performing.”
SCHOOL LIBRARY ASSISTANTS REQUIRED: We need 5 parent
helpers to assist in the school library for 1 day each from
1.15pm until 3.15pm for 8 weeks from Monday 18th May until
the end of term 6. If you can help and can commit to the
full 8 weeks, please let the school office know by Friday 17th
April.
AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS: Please note that there will be no
after school clubs running during the week commencing
13th April. The clubs at Bloxham Private School are no
longer running because of their exam schedule.
Playbox sessions in Term 5 will start on 28th April. Further
information via letter will follow when we return after the
Easter break.
SCHOOLCOMMS: Please contact the school office via the
email address at the top of this newsletter. We do not
receive replies to our schoolcomms email messages.
NEW SUMMER MENU: If you would like your child to start
having school meals, the new summer menu is now
available. Please go online to www.freshstartcatering.uk to
have a look or phone 01280 847289 for more information.
The deadline for ordering meals for the first week of term is
Tuesday 7th April.
MOUND ON SCHOOL FIELD: As you may have noticed, we
have created a new mound by the side of the school field
for the children to use hopefully later in the summer. This
area had been rather unloved and had been out of
bounds for children. We are very grateful to Smiths of
Bloxham for their continued support in donating a skip for
this work.
F.O.B.P.S NEWS
The FoBPS Easter cake raffle was drawn in assembly this
morning and the winner was Mrs Rickard. The Easter Egg
Raffle was also drawn this morning and the children who
won were very pleased with their prizes. Many thanks to
The Banbury Cake Shop for donating the wonderful Sean
the Sheep cake. We are very grateful for their continued
support.
