BOLD AFTER PROM CARNIVAL!
Sign up to come to the 2015 BOLD After Prom Carnival
in the High School Office by Wed, Apr 22. This event is
open to all BOLD Seniors, BOLD Juniors and any others
that attend BOLD's Prom. The carnival is being held at
the BOLD Bird Island campus. Doors will open at 11:30
pm and lock at midnight. Watch for the posters around
school for more information. This year there is going to
be a bean bag tournament at the carnival where the
winning team will take home a customized BOLD Bean
Bag game set!. YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER YOUR TWOPERSON TEAM IN THE HIGH SCHOOL OFFICE BY APR 22.
See you at the Carnival for lots of food, fun & prizes!

Monsanto Corn Research is taking applications for
summer employment. Work will begin around early July
and end mid-August. You must be 14 years old. Work
will take place in yield trial plots and the corn research
nursery. Apply at 2135 W. Lincoln Ave. Olivia, MN or

Congrats to the Speech team!! The BLHS/BOLD
team took 3rd place in Subsection 2A. Kristiane Montgomery is
Subsection champion in Drama. Seth Holtz placed 4th and
Genesis Gaona placed 5th, also in Drama. Mackenzie
Marconcini took 2nd and Caitlin Schulze placed 4th in Prose.
Gabbie Schultz placed 6th in poetry and Lauren Schulze
placed 7th in Original Oratory. All of them will continue to the
Section tournament next Friday. Congratulations to all of our
medal winners!

BOLD Students:
The 7th hour Global Studiezzzz class is collecting dental
care items for Mrs. Sackreiter's trip to Ecuador. Items
like toothbrushes (not used) toothpaste, dental floss are
acceptable. These things will help the children and
adults in Ecuador who do not have these everyday
necessities. The collection will start on March 2nd go to
April 30th. You can drop these items off in Mrs. Bahl’s
room, Ms. Lee's room, Mrs. Gross’s room, and the
office!!! Thank you!

The Bold Elementary PTO is hosting a Color-A-Thon 5K
Fun Run and a kid 2 block fun run (Health and Wellness
activity) as a fundraiser for additional PTO Activities.
This fundraiser will be held at the Elementary on Sat.
May 16th at 9 a.m. Packets have been sent out to all
students in Elementary and packets have been sent to
the High School-Contact Melissa Sagedahl. Deadline
