1. HULLAND DECK
Both hull and deck are G.R.P.mouldingsby the hand
lay-up method.Structurebulkheadslaminatedto hull
and deck. Stitfenersare G.R.P.laminationsover foam
cores.A multi floor structuremodule is bonded to the
hull shell bottomand acceptsthe ballastkeel and mast
step forces.
Coachroof, main deck and cockpit are of sandwich
constructionwith a balsacore for strengthand insulation.The deck has a specialnon-skidpafiernmoulded
on the surface.
2. KEEL
The ballast keel of approximately3500 lbs. is a lead
casting with antimony, cast in keel bolts of stainless
steel.

stock through a cover plate.
5. ACCOMMODATION
a) General
All joinery and bulkheadshave selectedteak faced
veneer which is teak oiled and hand rubbed.Other

designedso that a standardC.Q.R.anchor may be
stowed in the stemhead.

d) Saloon
On the starboard side is an L shaped settee b€rtl
which convertsinto a full size double berth.On tho
portside is a single settee berth. Both upholstered
back rests lift up for extra storage outboard. Tho
starboardside makes up into a double berth.Outboard of the setteesare cane panelled lockers wi|h
bookcases between.One locker is fitted for bottler
and glasses.
The cabintablehasa hingedleafwhich foldsup onb
bulkhead.
The companionwayladder is in two parts,the lowg
all G.R.P.,the upper a frameof stainlesssteeltubing
with teak treads,forming a hand grip port and starboard.
Teak handrailsare fitted to the coamings port and
starboardand stainlesssteelpillarhandgripstochart
table and galley.
e) Navigatorc Area
A full size chart table with stowage for charts and
navigationalequipment.Gircuit breakerand switch
panel mountedaft of companionwaysteps.The navigators seat is on a swing out s.s. frame hinged at
forwardend of charttable.A fiddledshelfrunsthe full
length of the quarter berth.
0 Galley
The galleyhasa two burnerrangeand ovenin stainless steel which is gimballedand fiddled.The gas
bottlestowageis a separatedrainedwell with a gas
solenoidvalveoperatedfromthe galley.The stainless
steel sink is fitted into the working surfaceand is
suppliedby a mixer tap with a high faucet and an
emergencycold handpump.Thesinkgravitydrains
in harbour.There is a locker under the sink,with a
trashbin.A 6 cu.ft.ice box is underthe afterworking
surfaceand is top openingin two parts;it is fittedout
with wire tray and bottle stowage. Outboard and
abovethe cookeris a lockerwith smokeacrylicsliding doors the full length of the galley,divided into
compartmentswith crockerystowageat the forward
end. At forward end there is a dry locker outboard
coveredin corionand a slidingdrawerover a cupboardwith 2 shelvesinboard.

The tank is starboardunderthe setteeberthsand has
a capacityof approximately30 imp.gallons.The tank
hasa fillerand vent.The pressurewatersystemfeeds
water to toiletbasinand galleysink.
b) Drains
The anchor and gas bottle wells both drain overboard.Two 1t/2"cockpit drains are fitted.The head
sink basindrainsby gravityand hasa ballvalveat the
shipside.The galleysink has gravitydrain.
c) Bilge
A bilge pump is fittedin the port cockpitlockerdischargingthrougha skin fitting.

slug slides. Combinationsteamingand floodlight.

A toiletis plumbedin forwardwith waterinletvia a ball
valve.The dischargeis intoa holdingtank underthe
forwardberths.The pumpoutfittingis mountedin the
anchor well and the vent is on the side of the stem
under the stemheadfitting.

four part tackle.Two internalreef pennantsfor jitfy
reefing, with cam stoppers at forward end. Tack
